Meet my friend, Louie Roy. He's been playing old-timey music for over 70 years. He's also been married to the same Love of
His Life, for 60 years!
I love his music because he plays it in an "unvarnished" style, reminiscent of what I grew up hearing my mom and dad play.
I also love it because he just is so genuine in his voice and love of the music, himself.

In his own words, "Music has always been a part of my life and I still play at nursing homes, senior centers, schools, and
churches at least 4 times a month with the group I've been playing with for many years and all of us are over 75 and three
of the group are 89."I grew up on country music and I cranked an old Victor phonograph many miles to listen to 78s and
Edison records of yesteryear." Louie's been playing with this group for over fifteen years. There are a LOT of collective
years of experience there!
